London: The book's first edition of the biological world famous Charles Darwin, On the Origin of Species, was found on the bookshelves of a house in Oxford, England. Christie's auction house said the book was printed in 1859 will be auctioned next Tuesday. AThe event marked the 150th year commemoration of Darwin's publications.
Christie told the Associated Press, Sunday (22/11), the book is expected to sell for 60,000 pounds (U.S. $ 99,000). This book describes the theory of natural selection, one of the main theories used in modern evolutionary science. (YUS)
